I created this section for the scenes that don’t make the final cut of a manuscript and the scenes that pop in my mind well after a book is released. I may as well do something with them. lol

ON HIS ARM
Aris and Luke have just arrived at a party and Aris is in her head (as usual). I really love this scene because it illustrates how Luke keeps her centered.

HELLO, MORNING
The end of the road for Aris and her on-off beau, Ralph. This scene sheds some light on the nature of their relationship, and Aris’s decision to cut him loose.

JUST MY LUCK
When Aris meets Luke. This is a brief scene of their first interaction at a sports bar. Little did they know what the rest of the night had in store for them…

GIVE ME A REASON
A cute, random moment between Aris and Luke. I also like this scene because it offers a snapshot of Luke’s relationship with Jessica at a time when he was sure about their future.

FIRST TIMES
Flashback! Sabrena is reflecting on her life, specifically her problems with Dez and Rowe’s sudden return into her life. This was originally the first chapter of UNLIKE ME, but it wound up on the cutting room floor before the re-release.

LOVE AND WAR
A drop-in with two of my favorite characters! Basically, Quincy is getting all wound up because Tashi is being…Tashi.

IN THE BEGINNING
A couple of scenes that highlight significant moments of Ailana’s turbulent, tragic childhood and adolescence.

NO ORDINARY LOVE
After a few years of traveling, Ailana returns home and meets Ethan. A brief scene of how their love and life began.
